The so-called “prevention-free project” refers to a comprehensive and high improvement cost project that Jinwa Company has in mind the healthy growth of jelly target group – children so that it independently upgrades “Jinwa” jelly products without containing aseptic such as sorbic acid and benzoic acid by conducting a series of upgrade improvements such as process formulation improvement, production process flow, production facility transformation and choice and monitoring of raw materials.
As one of two earliest and largest professional jelly manufacturers now existing in China and an excellent enterprise advocating “social marketing” early in China, the company started a safety project in 2001 – innovated, researched and developed “melt-in-your-mouth” and “ jelly strip” and other safe jelly and started “prevention-free project” at the beginning of 2003 and invested a lot of manpower and materials in systematically upgrading and improving production equipment and production process technology so as to better provide children with safer and healthier jelly products in consideration of the fact that the target consumers of jelly products are mainly children and such products relate to long-term healthy growth of children. At the beginning of April, 2004, the company summed up years of experience in its jelly export, formally produced “prevention-free” (aseptic-free) jelly and publicly announced to news media and all walks from life on May 20, 2004 that the company had completely stopped producing aseptic – containing jelly as of that day and new “Jinwa” “aseptic-free” jelly had been comprehensively sold all over Chinese market. Over 180 media such as Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, Beijing Evening. “Aseptic-free” aspect is a product quality promise, showing in process of producing such product, not only the manufacturer doesn’t add any aseptic, but also raw production materials used in process of its production have been strictly examined and found contain no aseptic, realizing the idea the product really doesn’t contain any aseptic; but “adding no aseptic” aspect is a promise for enterprise’s act, only showing the manufacturer doesn’t add any aseptic in process of producing such product without excluding raw production materials containing any aseptic.
